HUB FACE
(1)--Prepare the axle: Remove the wheels and tires from the axle to expose the hub faces.

(3)--Use a straight edge: Place a straight edge against the hub face on one side of the axle.
(4)--Measure across the axle: Place the end of your tape measure against the straight edge and extend it across the axle to the corresponding hub face on the other side.
(5)--Read the measurement: The measurement on your tape measure is the hub face measurement.
2. SPRING CENTER
(1)--Locate the spring pads: Identify the pads on the axle where the leaf springs are mounted.
(2)--Find the center: For each spring pad, find the center point of the bolt hole.
(3)--Measure: Use a tape measure to measure from the center of the bolt hole on one spring pad to the center of the bolt hole on the opposite spring pad.
(4)--Record the measurement: This measurement is the spring center of your trailer axle.
